Exploring physical interaction tools to enhance accessibility for individuals with ADHD.
Project Overview
This project focuses on designing tools aimed at assisting individuals with ADHD (ADHDoers) in their daily tasks. We hypothesize that physical interaction tools can help identify the core components of universal design and AI personal assistants necessary for creating accessible work and life environments.
Research Questions
- What physical interaction patterns best support ADHD cognitive styles?
- How can universal design principles be adapted for neurodivergent users?
- What role can AI assistants play in bridging the gap between intention and action?
Approach
The research combines hands-on prototyping with theoretical frameworks from accessibility studies, cognitive science, and interaction design. By starting with physical tools rather than digital interfaces, we aim to identify fundamental principles that can inform both analog and digital solutions.
Status
This is an active research project with ongoing experimentation and documentation.
